Heron Haus is a 10,000 square foot English Tudor home designed by noted Portland architect Joseph Jacobberger in 1904.   The home's fine craftsmanship lends it a beautiful but casual elegance.   Heron Haus is listed on the National Historic Register.

First Floor

The original oak parquet covers the first floor guest areas. An east view sunroom overlooks the spacious and accessible patio and the mahogany library contributes to a relaxing guest stay.

Comfortable guest suites with queen or king size beds and modern, private baths are designed to ensure gracious and quiet relaxation.

There is plenty off-street parking.

Other features include panoramic views of the city and mountains, a radio/CD player, high speed wi-fi Internet access and sitting and work areas

Local calls are free and no hotel service charges are added for credit card calls.

Morning Room

Heron Haus is located in Portland's northwest hills, just above historic Nob Hill with its many shops and boutiques and Portland's finest restaurants -- only minutes from city center and the Pearl District.   Nearby Forest and Washington Parks offer miles of hiking trails.   The Rose Garden and Japanese Garden are minutes away.

Heron Haus now serves a full breakfast. Coffee, tea and freshly baked cookies are available in the afternoons.
