Take the exit labeled I-205 South/Portland/Salem. Follow I-205 to I-84 West. Follow I-84 West to I-5 North. At the junction of I-84 and I-5 stay in the right two lanes to exit North, then immediately merge left to avoid exiting to the Coliseum. Follow I-5 to the next exit labeled St. Helens/Beaverton/I-405 which puts you onto the Fremont Bridge (with the flags on top).
On the top of the Fremont Bridge move into the far right hand lane. This becomes the directional lane for Northwest Industrial and St. Helens (angling to the right off the bridge). Stay in the far right hand lane for this lane becomes the exit lane for Vaughn St. The first light you come to is 23rd. Go through this light on Vaughn St. to the next light which is 25th. Turn left on 25th and come all the way across Northwest Portland toward the hills. You will notice that the named streets are in alphabetical order. Come to the intersection of 25th, Johnson and Westover (a maverick street that winds itself around the hills for about eight blocks). Take a sharp right on Westover and come up the incline - less than half of a city block and you are heading into my driveway. The reason for this is that Westover continues up the hill with a very sharp curve and my rock wall goes around the top of this curve ...
Take Everett St. exit. Go through the first light, which is Everett St. Go to the second light, which is Glisan. Turn left onto Glisan. Follow Glisan up to 24th. Stay in the right lane as Glisan returns to two way at 23rd. Turn right onto 24th. Continue three blocks to a four way stop. Turn left onto Johnson. Go one block to a three way stop. Bear right up incline onto Westover. At the top of a 1/2 block incline, before a very sharp curve to the left, you will be facing my driveway. Do not make the sharp curve to the left. My stone wall has the house number 2545. There is a bank with creeping juniper, a cedar hedge, and grey and white Tudor house. Come all the way up the narrow drive, through the grounds, to the parking area by my front door. Use the map and directions to help you.
