Our behavior around food is changing before our very eyes - from how we grow and produce food,
to how we distribute and market it, to how we sell, buy and consume it. The game is changing -
and in a good way. FoodWorx presents important food and drink issues from new angles
(not the same old, same old), and helps support our collective evolution around our experience
with food and drink.
The Portland-based nonprofit World Food Travel Association is hosting the second annual FoodWorx:
The Future of Food Conference in Portland, Oregon on Tuesday, February 4. Food impacts
literally every part of our lives, and in ways we don’t always realize.
FoodWorx is an innovative forum with short TED-style talks grouped around 4 major branches:
food and economics; food and environment; food and society; and food and health.
The day closes with a regional food showcase.
FoodWorx is for everyone who is interested in exploring issues in and around food and drink,
including consumers, trade, journalists, students – everyone. Tickets are only $99
(until Jan. 24, then $129) and that includes lunch. Get your tickets now before they sell out.
Just go to the conference website www.foodworxconference.com then click on the purple “REGISTER NOW” button.
